Adam Dodd back in familiar surroundings
Bamber Bridge have re-signed left-back Adam Dodd following his departure from FC United of Manchester.
Dodd enjoyed a four-year spell at Broadhurst Park, making over 100 appearances for FC United.
He missed much of last season after suffering a cardiac arrest whilst at home in June 2022, but returned in January's 2-2 draw at Whitby Town.
Dodd was first with Brig between 2016-19, becoming a fan favourite with his defensive displays and consistent performances.
He is also widely regarded as one of the best left-backs in the Northern Premier League.
“It’s great to be back at Brig again, I have some fantastic memories from my first time here at the club," Dodd said.
"I’ve made no secret of my desire to play closer to home, and when Milly [manager Jamie Milligan] phoned me to come back, it was an easy decision.
“The squad Milly is putting together this summer is really exciting and has a real mix of young talented lads and more experienced players.
"We hope to be challenging this season again and I hope I can play my part in a successful campaign."
