Stocksbridge part ways with striker
Stocksbridge Park Steels have confirmed that Gareth Curtis will leave the club to join Clipstone FC.
Curtis joined the Steels in July from United Counties League Premier side Sherwood Colliery as part of the stream of players signed by Ian Richards during his first tenure.
Prior to his move to Stocksbridge, Curtis was a standout goalscorer at Sherwood, scoring 17 goals in his final season at the club, including an equaliser against Buxton in the FA Cup which forced a replay.
The striker made 11 appearances for the Steels this season - topping his side's goal contributions with three goals and three assists.
After a short tenure at Bracken Moor, Curtis returns to the United Counties League with Clipstone FC.
