North Ferriby United appoint Billy Heath
Club statement.
North Ferriby United are delighted to announce the appointment of Billy Heath as their new First Team Manager.
Club Chairman Les Hare said, “I believe we have made the right appointment having taken into consideration all of the existing issues and we wish Billy every success in what are challenging times ahead. We have not set any immediate targets other than a quick return to stability and the creation of a platform from which player confidence can be rebuilt.
In working with a quality squad, we believe that Billy has the perfect opportunity to demonstrate he has the credentials to reaffirm the Club’s footballing traditions.
Our choice has been a difficult one, given the number and quality of applicants for a position the Club didn’t even advertise. We have considered both internal and external options and eventually made this appointment with the best interests of the Club in mind.
Billy will be introduced to the players at the training ground on Tuesday evening and will take charge immediately in preparation of the Villagers’ challenging trip to current league leaders Northwich Victoria next Saturday.
