Game on despite overnight raid
Tuesday night's EVO-STIK League South clash between Market Drayton Town and Newcastle Town is going ahead despite the hosts suffering an overnight break-in.
Officials at the Greenfields Sports Ground confirmed the fixture would be played as scheduled at lunchtime on Tuesday with the police and a forensics team still on site as they cleared up after the latest break-in at their home.
Martyn Davies and his win-less side have just three points from their opening seven outings while in-form Castle are in the hunt for promotion again with four wins and a draw so far to sit in seventh spot in the fledgling table.
