First team deal for Stocksbridge youth player
Stocksbridge Park Steels have confirmed that midfielder Ollie Nowak will feature for the senior squad during the 2023/24 season.
Nowak, who has been with the club since the age of four, featured for the Steels’ U18s squad where he won both the league and cup titles.
The young midfielder moved up to the reserves last season where he became the team’s leading goalscorer.
On his step up to the first team squad, Nowak said: “I started playing football aged four at Stocksbridge Park Steels and it’s a privilege to now be a part of the first team.
“I can’t wait for the season ahead and this pre-season has given me a nice teaser of what’s in store.”
