Bourne Town manager steps down
Bourne Town have confirmed that Dan Flack has stepped down from his role as manager.
Flack has been with the club for the past four seasons, joining as a player before taking on a joint player/manager role under Michael Goode, whose exit earlier this year marked the start of Flack's tenure as manager.
He departs after Saturday’s 2-1 home defeat to Belper Town, which leaves the club in the bottom four of the NPL Midlands Division, albeit with games in hand.
A club statement said: “After careful consideration, Dan has decided that now is the right time to bring his tenure to an end.
“Dan has worked tirelessly both on and off the pitch over the last four seasons, demonstrating professionalism, passion and a genuine commitment to the club, its players and supporters.
“We fully respect Dan’s decision to step down and would like to express our gratitude for everything he has contributed during his time with us.
“The club would like to place on record its sincere thanks and appreciation for the time, commitment and dedication he has shown throughout his time in charge.
“The club will provide a further update regarding its managerial arrangements in due course.”
