Botfield and Parsons join Chasetown
Chasetown have announced the signings of Mitch Botfield and Andy Parsons for the Pitching In Northern Premier League 2021/22 season.
On Botfield, manager Mark Swann said: “I’m chuffed that Botty has chosen us as the club he wants to play his football with. He is a fantastic all rounder and can play in a number of the midfield berths.
"One thing Jay and I targeted with new signings was character and Botty is a proven winner having enjoyed a lot of success with Alvechurch. This mentality and experience will only help the other talented players in the squad."
Parsons, a centre-half, joins the club following a short spell at Bedworth, while also featuring at Halesowen and Alvechurch.
Swann added: “Character and mentality was something we wanted to try and add when we targeted signings this summer and Parso offers this in abundance.
"He is a fantastic competitor who will offer real leadership on and off the pitch.
He is a talker and organiser on the field and daft as a brush off it! A great lad and great signing for us!”
